“Remembering farm life in the 1950s” – Marilyn Kratz grew up on a farm near Scotland, SouthDakota. She began her writing career in 1967 while teaching elementary school and, along with her husband Bud, raising their son Greg and daughter Lisa. She has written extensively for children’s publications and writes for each issue of “Living Here,” a regional magazine. She enjoys writing poetry and has had poems published in Pasque Petals, the South Dakota State Poetry Society publication. This is her fifth book. She and her husband, both retired, live in Yankton, South Dakota, where she enjoys reading, gardening, and singing in the church choir.
